  • We fit the insoles to your child’s main sporting shoes, where they will be 100% effective. They can be transferred to other shoes, but may only be 90% or 95% effective. In almost every case, they do not need to be transferred - they work so well in your child’s predominant sporting shoe, they can wear their other shoes without the Solemaids & without Sever’s pain!

  • There will be an adjustment period while the foot gets used to the new insole, during which your child may experience some discomfort. Allow up to 6 weeks for the foot to completely get used to the insoles. After that period, there won't be any feelings of discomfort.

  • Yes! Your child will be able to do every single activity as normal, no need to modify or pull them out of anything.

  • Solemaids only need to be worn for a period of 6 months before they can be phased out of your child’s shoe. For the majority of children, they are able to go 6 months in their sporting shoes/boots without needing to get bigger ones! If their foot does grow substantially during that time & they go up a shoe size, they will require a larger pair of Solemaids.
